How to apply?

 

To Apply for THE Primephysio Foundation fill in & submit with the accompanying documents to the Primephysio foundation registration form

Deadlines for application for Primephysio Foundation  for 2022-2023 are:

  • 01 January 2022

  • 01 May 2022

  • 01 September 2022

  • 01 December 2022

  • 01 January 2023

  • 01 May 2023

  • 01 September 2023

The outcome of the application is announced two weeks following  the application deadline

Applications must be made using the correct application form.

It is recommended that applicants read the Guidance Notes carefully prior filling the application form and provide full detail on the application to avoid any delay or rejection These are indicated in red throughout the application forms.

It is essential that applicants clearly state the reasons why funds are needed, and itemise the costs involved.

The Trustees will give priority to:

  • post graduate physiotherapy education and research that benefits the public and / or the patient

  • Novice researchers

  • Innovative research with sound methodology

  • Those working individually or as part of a small organisation

  • Applicants undertaking MSc or PhD programmes

  • Applicants who share their work at conferences in their home country or internationally.

  • Charitable or public organisation to set physiotherapy clinical setting or develop/educate their physiotherapy team

General terms and conditions:
  1. The applicant must be a physiotherapist and registered with the professional body in his/her home country, if no professional body exists in his/her country. the applicant must be an intern or qualified physiotherapy and provide an evidence e.g. Qualification certificate. 

  2. Applicants may submit only one application every three years.

  3. Grants and awards shall only be used for the purposes agreed by Primephysio Foundation

  4. Primephysio Foundation has the right to set specific conditions to approve the grant

  5. If the research project or educational activity should be suspended or cancelled for any reason, the applicant must inform Primephysio Foundation and has to return unspent funds already awarded to them.

  6. Should the research project cost is less than the awarded grant, the applicant has to return the balance of cover-allocated fund

  7. The applicant has to submit a 3 months report  on the progress of this project to Primephysio foundation.In some occasions funding may be paid in stages according to project milestones on receipt of a progress report.

  8. Applicant has to submit a letter from the course organiser (for courses not organised by Primephysio Training UK) prior the course start date and submit the attendance certificate as well as a letter signed by course organiser to Primephysio Foundation no later than two weeks following the course end date.

  9. Recipients of awards are required to disseminate their work through peer-reviewed journals and other publications. They are also asked to prepare a summary of their work in 8 slides for the use of Primephysio Foundation.

  10. It is expected that acknowledgment of the funding from Primephysio Foundation will be stated explicitly in all publications and presentations.

  11. Charitable organisation can apply for equipments purchase fund or staff training

Research award Up to 4000 USD.

For full or pilot research projects that aims to gather data related to the following topics:

Category II

Organisations award of up to 4000 USD.

To support charitable or public organisations involved in Physiotherapy education or practice.Award may be used to serve one or more of the following causes

Category III

Individual Scholarship award of up to 2000 USD.

To support physiotherapists to attend a continuous professional development activity e.g. courses, conferences, master's programs, etc..
