Primephysio Foundation was established in 2008 by Mahmoud Saad the founder of Primephysio Training UK to support Primephysio Training UK's mission and ensure fair and sustainable distribution of support and fund for the development of the physiotherapy profession in developing countries. Primephysio Foundation offers grants to fund post-graduate education and research into physiotherapy that will benefit patients and the public. Grants are awarded up to 3 times a year to individuals and organizations from low or lower-middle-income countries (see list). 

​From 2008 to 2017 the fund was used to fund scholarship activities, support professional bodies in developing countries through free workshops, and free online courses, and support charitable organizations e.g. Handicap International and Doctors Without Borders.

​The Primephysio Foundation funded the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Congresses in Cairo and, the first Physiotherapy Congress in Jordan (June 2018), the total amount of funds was 25000 USD.
