History and mission
Primephysio Foundation established in 2008 by Mahmoud Saad the founder of Primephysio Training UK to support primephysio Training mission and ensure fair and sustainable distribution of support and fund for the development of physiotherapy profession in developing countries. Primephysio foundation offers grants to fund post-graduate education and research into physiotherapy that will benefit patients and the public. Grants are awarded up to 3 times a year to individuals and organisations from low or lower middle income countries (see list).
From 2008 till 2017 the fund was used to fund scholarship activities, supporting professional bodies in developing countries through free workshops , free online courses, supporting charitable organisation e.g. handicap international , doctors without borders.
In 2018 and 2020 Primephysio Foundation has funded the first and second Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Congress in Cairo and The first Physiotherapy Congress in Jordan (June 2018), total amount of fund was 25000 USD.
The upcoming deadline for application for the three award categories is 1st of December 2022.

To support charitable or public organisations involved in Physiotherapy education or practice.Award may be used to serve one or more of the following causes:

To support physiotherapists to attend a continuous professional development activity
e.g. Course - Conference - Master program
