Asmaa completed her undergraduate study at Cairo University in 2013, and get her master degree in physiotherapy from Cairo university in 2021 and currently she is a PHD student Asmaa Worked as MSK and intensive care physiotherapist for more than 7 years at Cairo university hospital where she supervise internship student, she started her journey with Primephysio since 2015, since then she shadowed. Many tutors in orthopedic manual therapy, Bobath, sport physical therapy and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and assist in many OMTC programs, she is a broad member of orthopedic manual therapy academy and Primephysio dry needling institute and a part of curriculum development team. She is the main tutor for the ICU course, dry needling diploma and soft tissue integrated management course, she delivered more than 15 intensive care physiotherapy courses and 30 dry needling programs and 6 soft tissue integrated management courses in different countries (Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Sudan and Pakistan) , she delivered many short workshops and was an invited speaker in different conferences and universities.

The Course objectives

  • Exploring different types of soft tissue systems.

  • Understanding the differential diagnosis of soft tissue dysfunctions.

  • Getting familiar with the fascia, myofascial meridians, and fascial restrictions.

  • Understanding muscle classifications and causes of muscle imbalance.

  • Utilizing different soft tissue release techniques and tools.

  • Implementing soft tissue release techniques or tools into clinical practice.

  • Integrating manual approaches with assistive tools in soft tissue release.

Program Content

Theoretical Session

Includes technique or tool rationale, indications, contraindications, and evidence.

Practical Demonstration and Applications

Includes techniques for the upper and lower quadrants for each tool or technique.
