Acute effects of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization vs. foam rolling on knee and hip range of motion in soccer players

Markovic, G., 2015. Acute effects of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization vs. foam rolling on knee and hip range of motion in soccer players. Journal of bodywork and movement therapies, 19(4), pp.690-696.

Takeaway message: These results support the use of the newly developed IASMT, Fascial Abrasion Technique _ and FR for increasing lower extremity ROM of athletes. , this allowed us to recommend the use of FAT or FR during warm-ups or as a complement to stretching during flexibility training sessions.
